Roundhead Sound Sessions: Kina Zore LIVE!

Kina Zoré produces an electrifying sound that combines soulful brass, uplifting vocals, and hypnotic polyrhythms. The six-member band is led by Mozambican Helder Tsinine, who’s original music embodies the life and energy of his hometown Maputo assembling the rhythms, harmonies and sweet voices of Mozambique. For this performance, Kina Zoré will be joined by master percussionist Matchume Zango. Born and raised in Maputo, Mozambique, master timbila player and percussionist Matchume Zango is well known in the Southern African region for his many collaboration with international musicians and his spectacular timbila and dance shows.
